Learn about our additional features...

Our online application for an EIN is one simple page, no matter what entity type you choose. Our application changes based on your unique situation to only ask questions that are relevant to your entity type, and it explains in detail exactly what is required every step of the way, in plain language. This allows us to find steps (such as filing your LLC with the state) which may be missed by the IRS, saving you time and headache in the long run. You should be able to complete our application in about 5 minutes. By contrast, the paper SS-4 has an IRS estimated completion time of over 90 minutes. The online IRS EIN application contains many separate pages, and it does not allow all applications to be completed online (sometimes with little explanation of why). Our staff has years of experience in dealing with the IRS, and when you file with us, we contact the IRS online, by phone, via fax — whatever is required to file your EIN.

Using our online system, we create a fully-prepared SS-4 document for your records. Banks and other entities sometimes require an SS-4 document with the EIN populated to the EIN field in the upper right hand corner of the document, as part of proof of an Employer Identification Number. The IRS EIN online application process does not provide a prepared SS-4. After using our service, you have access to this document in your secured user section, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for whenever you need it.

We have invested a signifigant amount of research and development time, testing, and refinement in every service we offer. Over 6 years, we have refined our EIN application system using the experience of thousands of successful filings, and thousands of hours talking with IRS representatives. All this experience goes into our dynamic help system, to make sure your filing is successfully completed the first time with the IRS. We know you don’t want to spend days working through issues with the IRS that could have been avoided. Our system is built, and our professionals are trained, to make sure your submission gets through as quickly as possible. By contrast, the IRS paper forms may take weeks to receive a permanent EIN. The IRS online system is available only at limited times, it does not handle all entity configurations, and it usually does not provide information as to why an application is not accepted.

We have spent thousands of hours on the phone with IRS agents working through EIN form submissions. Our professional staff are experts in this area, and we are an Authorized IRS e-file Provider. The IRS defines our role in the EIN submission process as your Third Party Designee. This means that if something is wrong, we will work on your behalf to fix it. If you forgot to update your name after a marriage or divorce, it needs fixed for a proper EIN submission. If you are requesting an EIN for an LLC which is not filed with the state, we can help. We work to help you with your EIN submission, which sometimes involves things the IRS can not, or will not provide. They might not even know how or where to look for help in these situations. We know you are using us because you want to avoid these situations, and thats what we have been doing for over 6 years.

Our online EIN form is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and our system uptime is over 99.7%. We have built our submission process to be available when you want to use it, meaning every day, every night, weekends, and even holidays. Our phone support is available 5 days a week, and we provide e-mail support 7 days a week, even in the evenings. By contrast, the IRS online EIN application system is only available from 6am to 9pm Central Time, Monday to Friday, for a total of 75 hours per week. Our online process is available 24/7 to better accommodate your schedule. In other words, we have more than twice the uptime of the IRS website, to receive, process, and support your order at your convenience.
